Houston Tea Party!

Date February 28, 2009

What an inspiring day! My little girl joined me in celebrating our freedom of speech in downtown Houston yesterday! There were around 500 people at this event. The organizers asked me to speak about the impact the bailout/stimulus policies would have on the future of our children. I had a blast! I’ll upload pictures soon.

Highlights:

*They didn’t have anyone to sing the national anthem, so we just sang it all together. 500 people lifting their voices in singing my favorite song. Awesome.

*Meeting all my twitter buddies!

*Seeing all the kidlets there. Impacting the next generation is MONDO IMPORTANTE.

Thanks to Felicia Craven and her team for all their hard work putting this thing together. YOU ROCK, girl!
